The Kings and defenseman Slava Voynov have agreed to terms on a new six-year contract, Kings President/GM Dean Lombardi announced today.
 
Voynov, 23, shared the Kings postseason leadership in both goals (six) and total points (13), and he also co-led the Kings in plus-minus rating (plus-9) while appearing in all 18 postseason games for the Kings during the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs.  

Voynov skated in all 48 games with the Kings during the 2012-13 regular season, totaling new career highs for points (25) and assists (19), and two of Voynov’s six regular season goals served as game-winners (tied for sixth among NHL defensemen). 

Pavel Datsyuk and the Red Wings have an agreement on a three-year contract, worth $22.5M, according to an ESPN.com report.

The Red Wings said Tuesday they had agreed to terms on a deal to keep Datsyuk through the 2016-17 season. He can't sign the contract until July 5 because he was entering the last year of his current deal. 

Center Logan Couture has agreed to a contract extension with the Sharks, though no formal announcement can come before July 5, according to a San Jose Mercury News report.

"Can't say details," Couture responded in a text message when asked for specifics after reports circulated that he had agreed to an extension to his current contract that pays him $3M in 2013-14, its final year.

The Flyers have agreed to terms with defenseman Mark Streit on a four-year, $21.5M deal, a source confirmed to ESPNNewYork.com.

The news was earlier reported by TSN.

The Penguins and forward Evgeni Malkin have agreed to an eight-year deal that will keep the 2012 NHL MVP in the fold well into the next decade.

The $76M deal begins with the 2014-15 season and will carry an average salary cap hit of $9.5M. 

The San Jose Sharks have extended the contract of head coach Todd McLellan.

TSN's Darren Dreger first reported the contract extension Wednesday.

As usual, the Sharks would not disclose terms of the new contract, or publicly acknowledge that the deal was done.

The Blackhawks have agreed to terms on an entry-level contract with standout free agent Finnish goaltender Antti Raanta, according to an ESPN.com report on Monday.

The goalie had a breakout season this year in the Finnish Elite League, where he was the regular-season and playoff MVP.
